Postgraduate Internships
& Placements

Postgraduate students studying the PGP in Services Management at ISH take up one mandatory paid internship as part of their academic programme. This internship provides them the opportunity to work with global employers in varied sectors and helps them work as part of inhouse business teams, and also enables them to secure pre-placement offers basis their individual performance. Students have the opportunity to work in business development, finance, data analytics, revenue management and other core departments. The internship also enables students to evaluate their own passion for a certain business function while at the same time experience the rigor of a real-world working environment.

PGP students are given the choice of articulating to a Les Roches campus for taking up a MBA or Master’s programme with Les Roches in Switzerland or Spain. Should they wish to immediately take up employment upon graduating from ISH, they are placed with renowned brands in hospitality and services.

Undergraduate Internships
& Placements

ISH students, studying both BBA in Hospitality Management and B.A (Hons) in Culinary Arts take up (two) mandatory 6-months internships through the course of their 4-year programme. The first internship focuses on operational nuances of hospitality while the second internship is a business internship which enables students to work in a specialisation of their choice, building on their career aspirations and goals.

ISH assists students to get placements with top-tier global as well as Indian companies in the hospitality and allied industries. These include careers in companies like The Taj Hotels, The Oberoi Group, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, MakeMyTrip, Postcard Hotels, Cowrks and more.

Our programmes help equip students for their future endeavours in the culinary and hospitality world. While a majority have chosen a career in these industries, a few have also taken the entrepreneurial plunge and started their own business ventures.

Diploma Certificate Programmes Internships & Placements

Students studying the Diploma Programmes at ISH take up one mandatory paid internship as part of their academic programme. This internship provides them the opportunity to work with global employers in the Culinary industry, and also enables them to secure pre-placement offers basis their individual performance. Students have the opportunity to work under Renowned Chef’s and specialize in global cuisine concepts. The internship also enables students to evaluate their own passion for Culinary while at the same time experience the rigor of a real-world working environment.

Diploma students are given the choice of articulating to At Sunrice Singapore and École Ducasse Paris to finish their advance Diploma. Should they wish to immediately take up employment upon graduating from ISH, they are placed with renowned brands in hospitality and services.
